Eastside NRZ to Host TOD Planning Meeting
The Eastside NRZ will host a meeting to discuss the City of New Britain’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Plan on July 28th at Stanley Memorial Fountain of Life Church, 639 East St., at 6pm. The City’s TOD Planning Working Group is asking for input on future development in the East Street and East Main Street CTfastrak station areas. The consultant team will explain conceptual plans for future housing and commercial development in both station areas and seek feedback in an interactive format. The consultant team will also talk about steps the City can take to encourage future development in the two areas, which is likely to include adopting new zoning regulations. All residents are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
The New Britain Eastside NRZ will be meeting on Thursday, May 5th, at 6pm at the Stanley Memorial Fountain of Life Church at 639 East St in New Britain. Our guest speaker will be newly appointed Superintendent of Schools Nancy Sarra. Please call me at (860) 983-4295 if you have questions.
